Nature Republic By Flower Cotton Blusher
By Flower is a Nature Republic sub-brand sold in two tiers at once: this 5g Daiso blusher at 3,000 KRW, and a 5g By Flower Petal Blusher at 5,500 KRW on Nature Republic's own store — same sub-brand, same size, different manufacturer. The Daiso version is made by B&G Korea, the retail one by Cosmax; Nature Republic is the responsible seller for both but manufactures neither. What is actually in it?
Talc is the first of 30 declared ingredients, followed by mica, boron nitride and the emollient esters. The four floral extracts the brand name points to — calendula, rose, lavender and camellia — sit at positions 20 to 23, after all the colourants. It also declares the Korean-numbered dyes Red 202 and Yellow 5.
Does it contain citrus oils?
Yes — bergamot oil and lemon peel oil are both declared, along with the fragrance allergens limonene, linalool and linalyl acetate. Both citrus oils are recognised photosensitisers, which is worth knowing in a product designed to stay on the face through the day.
Is it vegan certified, and does it contain petrolatum?
No vegan certification mark appears on the Daiso Mall listing.
